Doyle's Room Software (7.7/10.0):

A download is required to play, and is currently available for Windows PC only, unless you have a Mac with a Windows emulator installed (if you are on a Mac without a Windows emulator, check out this list of other Mac friendly poker sites). DoylesRoom Promotions (8.0/10.0):
DoylesRoom.com offers a wide variety of promotions including their $550 sign up bonus and their Royal Flush Brag.
DoylesRoom.com $550 Deposit Bonus
Doyles Room offers a 110% up to $550 bonus to all new depositors who use promo code BONUSDR and make a deposit of $30 or more. To redeem the bonus, visit www.DoylesRoom.com and create a poker account (use promo code BONUSDR). Then, download the software and go to the Cashier to make a deposit. After you make your deposit, the bonus money will show up in a Pending Bonus account. Money in your Pending Bonus account cannot be wagered or withdrawn - you need to clear it into your Cashier first to do that. To clear the money to your Cashier you need to earn 'frequent player points'.
How to Clear the Doyles Room Bonus
As we mentioned, you must earn frequent player points (FPPs) to clear the bonus into your real money account. Every time you earn 166.66 FPPs you will clear $10 from your Pending Bonus balance into your real money balance. To earn FPPs, you simply need to play real money cash games, sit and go's, or multi table tournaments at DoylesRoom.
Every time $1 is raked from a cash game, each player who was dealt into the hand receives 1 FPP. There are also fractional points, so if the rake is $0.25 each player who was dealt in would receive 0.25 FPPs. For tournaments and sit and go's, every dollar you pay in tournament fees is worth 7 FPPs. So, if you buy into a $20+$2 sit and go you will receive 14 FPPs.
Players have 90 days to clear their bonus before it expires. If the bonus expires, you keep any bonus money that you had already cleared, and any remaining bonus money disappears. Learn more about the Doyles Room poker bonus.
Royal Flush Brag
As if hitting a Royal Flush isn't enough, Doyles Room has added an additional bonus that makes the moment even more special. Players who hit a royal flush and qualify for the prize receive up to $1,000 in cash. Here are the rules:
- The bonus only applies to Texas Hold'em cash games.
- The winning hand must include both hole cards, and must go to showdown.
- Players must submit the Hand ID to Doyles Room support to receive the bonus.
If your hand qualifies based on the rules listed above, you will receive either $250 or $1,000. If you were at a table with stakes of $0.50/$1 or less, you will receive $250. If you were at a table with stakes of $1/$2 or higher, you receive $1,000. Remember that you must contact support with your hand ID to receive the bonus.
Doyles Room Games (7.0/10.0):
Doyles Room provides a pleasant selection of online poker games, including Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven Card Stud, and Seven Stud Hi-Lo. Players can play for both play money and real money, but this part of the review is going to focus on the real money poker games at DoylesRoom.com.
No Limit Hold'em is the most prevalent game at Doyles Room. Table stakes start at $0.02/$0.04, and run all the way up to $500/$1,000. However, the biggest game running at the moment is a $10/$20 table. Doyles Room offers NL Hold'em in several variations, including nine handed, short handed (six players), and heads up (two players).
The Fixed Limit Hold'em tables have much less traffic, and the stakes run from $0.02/$0.04 to $100/$200. The biggest game running right now is a heads up $50/$100 table. Pot Limit Hold'em has even less traffic, and the biggest game at the moment is only a $0.10/$0.20 table.
The Omaha tables have decent traffic - you should be able to consistently find games up to the $10/$20 level. Seven Stud traffic is extremely limited, and there are only a few tables running at the moment.
If you are a No Limit Hold'em player you will absolutely love the wide selection of tables at DoylesRoom.com, but if you wish to play a different game we recommend choosing a larger poker site like PokerStars or Full Tilt Poker as there will be many more tables running.

Larry Flynt, the controversial Hustler magazine and casino founder who had a passion for poker and pornography, has died in Los Angeles, aged 78.
A spokesperson for Larry Flynt publications told US press that free-speech advocate Mr Flynt died in his sleep at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center 'from the recent onset of a sudden illness.'
Flynt had become an incredibly important figure in the USA for numerous reasons, not least of which the numerous lawsuits he was involved in over the years, one of which saw him shot outside a courthouse in Georgia in 1978, leaving him a paraplegic.
The self-confessed 'smut peddler who cares” is perhaps most famous for the Hustler magazine that he founded in 1974, having built a business empire in Ohio based on strip clubs.
Married five times, Flynt was portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the 1996 movie “The People vs Larry Flynt”.
To many poker players, however, he will be remembered for his love of seven-card stud, his home game becoming one of the biggest and most famous in the world.
Despite, or perhaps because of being a mediocre player at best, a seat at Flynt’s game – originally held at his home and then moved to the Hustler Casino – was highly-sought after.
“Larry’s Game” as it became known had stakes as high as $4,000/$8,000 and featured his favourite 7-card stud, with players such as Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Barry Greenstein, Chip Reese and Ted Forrest among its famous participants. David Oppenheim reputedly once lost $1.8 million in the Flynt game.
It was said that anyone turning up late for the game faced a $500 fine, the money put towards food for the players. Because of his injuries following the 1978 shooting, Flynt’s preferred low room temperature saw players wrapping up to stay warm as they played.
Flynt also reportedly staked many players, the recently-deceased Thor Hansen, and old-school legend Danny Robinson among them. The latter, named along with Chip Reese as ‘The Golddust Twins’ was described by the late, great Mike Sexton as “the most famous and legendary 7-card stud player in the world'.
Flynt played few tournaments, and his biggest cash of $230,000 came at his own Larry Flynt's Poker Challenge Cup, at his home casino in Gardena, as runner-up behind Barry Greenstein.
He also took $10,000 for an 8th place finish at the 2000 WSOP at Binion’s in Las Vegas, David Chiu taking the title in the $5k Seven-card stud tournament.
A decade or so earlier, Flynt had been banned from the WSOP after allegedly bribing players to chip dump to him in order to win a massive bet he had with Doyle Brunson.
More recently, Flynt lost a lawsuit he brought trying to overturn an “outdated” anti-organised crime law in California that he claimed had cost him the chance to enter lucrative “out-of-state” casino markets.

Flynt is survived by his fifth wife and four children.
